Each year we taste through hundreds of wines from every region of Italy looking for a good balance of light, medium and full-bodied wines we think will complement the food at L’Amante. Our goal is to provide a variety of wines from all over Italy; although we are partial to the wines of the Piedmont and Tuscany. Many of the wines are from small, artisanal producers who make very small quantities. For this reason we change the list often. Please forgive us if your favorite wine or producer is not always on the list. When certain wines are gone we often cannot get more until the next vintage.
As you peruse the list you will notice that we do have wines from the U.S.A. and Spain and occasionally we will put a French or South American wine on the list as well. These wines are on the list because we happen to like them and we think they are a good match for the cuisine at L’Amante.
